||    The Roadrunners get their first look inside The Criteria Studios shortly after 7:00 in the morning. In this photo, Dave Morris and Russ Hamilton check out the equipment in the studio, accompanied by Mike Stone from Daytona Beach, Florida who was the groups' manager at the time. Mike was close friends with studio engineer Lee Hazen who had shortly before done the engineering work on one of Stone's other musical groups, The Nightcrawlers.
The Criteria Studio was the primary home for The Jackie Gleason Orchestra , who were recording easy listening big band music. Gleason used The Criteria Studios while his CBS Television production of The Jackie Gleason Show was being televised from The Fountainbleu Hotel's newly constructed Convention Center in Miami Beach.
